This secondhand tin comes from the worlds oldest continuously existing brands. And the first mass market translucent soaps. Developed by Andrew Pears in 1789, a barber searching for a more gentle soap in a world filled with harsh skin care products.
This tin however is not as old as the brand itself, and was more likely to have come from a gift set.
It is in pretty good condition, it does have some scratches and a dent or two, please check the images to see the patina of the tin before purchasing.
