Built in 1948 alongside the Goudini Road railway station, with postal roots going back to 1876, this building served the local community for decades before the post office itself closed in 2023. Rather than let that history sit empty, it’s been reborn as a working art gallery, studio and mosaic workshop — a place where the Breede Valley’s past and its present craft scene share the same walls.

It’s a small, curated shop rather than a big-box experience, and many pieces are one of a kind, so what you see on a visit may not be there next time.

We’d rather tell you upfront: restoring a decades-old post office is a slow, ongoing project, and the interior is still very much a work in progress.
